How to size a kids' electric dirt bike
Three things matter more than the age on the box:
- Seat height vs inside leg: a learner should get both feet flat or nearly flat on the ground. A more confident child can manage tiptoes.
- Weight of the bike: the child should be able to hold it up and pick it up after a fall without help.
- Power modes: the best kids' bikes have a low beginner mode and unlock speed as skill grows, so one bike lasts years.
Ages 2–5: electric balance bikes
